Never in my wildest dream, did I think it would take me this long to get back to you after my last blog post.
I had it all mapped out. I was going to throw myself over the computer and I was going to dazzle you all with the amount of files decluttered,
Well…. that didn’t happen!
Sadly, my friend B lost his brother right before Easter. His brother passed away on his 71st birthday, after having lost the battle with cancer. Leaving us way to soon 😢 Loosing a family member is never easy, and I can imagine how hard is was on B loosing his sibling. My heart goes out to B and his family.
Just around the same time this was happening, I ran into a bit of a shoulder problem. I don’t know if you remember, but a couple off years ago I had a fall off a ladder. After that fall, my shoulder started to act up. My doctor kept it pretty much in check with a bunch of Cortisone shot last year. But this year however my shoulder went from not good to bad, and around the time B’s brother passed away my shoulder went from bad to worse.
We did an MRI and it was quickly decided that an operation was needed…
Before I went under the knife, B and I had three lovely days in Amsterdam, visiting Keukenhof tulip gardens, doing a canal boat trip and just in general roaming around. Hopefully I’ll be able to post something about that later 🙂
It’s been 2,5 weeks since my shoulder operation and I’m finally able to sit at my computer for all of 5 minutes 😆 so I’m trying to keep this short for the obvious reasons (most of this was written through my phone).
This is just a quick update on what’s been going on, and why I’ve been offline. Due to shoulder, I might be offline a little longer..
But hey… I’m still here – so I’ll see you when I see you 🙂
Minimalist Sometimes 
I’m so sorry to hear about all of this sad news. I have had two shoulder surgeries (R and L) for torn labrums. I really hope you are back in the swing of things soon!

Ouch… two shoulder surgeries for torn labrums, yikes! That does not sound like fun.. mine’s not quite as serious, thankfully! Even thought they are trying towarn me it might take a few months before it’s back to normal.. but.. I’m thinking.. it can only get better than it was 😉

Absolutely. I’ve had mine done for two and three years now and even though they sometimes cause issues, I am in no where near as much pain anymore. I’m rooting for you, it takes a while but in the end worth it.

I’m sure it will be worth it.. I’m also hoping (crossing my fingers and all that) that it will help with my headaches somewhere down the line as well 🙂

They’ve told me it can take a while to get full use of my shoulder, but it’s already way better than it was before surgery… so it’s all good 😀

Yes… sunny summer… absolutely 😀 life is already better than before surgery, so I’m sure I’ll be back to full use before we know it 😀

I will let B know, thank you 🙂 and yes… we are all hoping that fixing my shoulder, will help my head down the line (but no promises according to doctor… just a whole lot of hope 😉) regardless… life is already improved a lot 😆

I’m just so glad they actually could fix something for once… after feeling like I’ve been banging my head against the wall for the last 8 years never finding any permanent solutions to my headache problems… this was a nice change… actually having something done!!! 😂

Thank you, I’m sure I will 😀 I’ve already started on some small exercises they have given me, and I have appointment with physical therapist in a a few weeks.. so I’m ready to rock this 😜

Regner med at skulderen bare kan bli bedre, det kan ihvertfall ikke bli verre en den var før operasjonen 😂 så er det flere av oss som håper at det kanskje på sikt vil hjelpe til litt på hue også 😉 skal hilse så nye tilbake fra B, stor klem

Life is rolling along on my end 🙂 I’ve been staying away from my computer/blog because of my shoulder… but I really need to get back with it, I miss it too 😢 I’m hoping to get rolling again in a couple of weeks. Hope to see you soon 🤪
