21.4 – Oh, my snugglies!

day-4We’re at day 4 of my 21 day declutter challenge.

I’ve been partial to soft stuffed animals for years. It probably started when I was a kid, as my dad used to bring back stuffed animals from his trips around the world. Dolls were never my thing.. give me a soft snuggly bear, koala, elephant or whatever, anytime, and I’ll turn into a 5 year old again 🙂

Now, do I need to keep every snuggly that enters the house? Off course not! Some have sentimental value, and I’m keeping those. But a few that are not as sentimental are still residing in my home… well no more… now at least 4 of them will be leaving!

3 snugglies, and one with somewhat evil looking eyes (go figure why they would sell this to kids) will no longer be calling my place their home.

So here we are… four three snugglies going out-the-door!

I feel a bit bad about the black sheep… I got him from my colleagues when I left my company (and I love that), it’s just that he freaks me out a little when he is looking at me! Which means I’ll hide him away. And if I can’t enjoy him… well I’m sure I can find a kid who will 😉

  1. I used to have a menagerie of stuffed bears, zebras, dogs, cats, ducks, and what not. Over time, I whittled away the collection. Last out the door was a teddy bear.

    I like that black sheep! It looks like the sheep used to sell Serta mattresses here in the states. Only black.

  3. We have a million Beanie Babies around here and I have the hardest time letting them go. However, I had one even harder last week… it was a Collie and the eyes, oh my goodness, they just tugged right at my heart strings and I’m still kind of bummed that it’s gone.

    1. They do that, don’t they, tug at our hearts… I had quite a few Beanie Babies myself (not quite in your ball park) but I have whittled them down to only a very few. I WILL be keeping one of them (it’s the coolest one) but I’m trying to get rid of the rest.. we will see if I manage through this challenge 😉
